Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Announce Engagement

11/28/2017 0

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who stars in the hit USA series 'Suits', announced their engagement on Monday, November 27th, after a lot of media speculation.

"His Royal Highness and Ms. Markle became engaged in London earlier this month," Clarence House said. "Prince Harry has informed Her Majesty The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince Harry has also sought and received the blessing of Ms. Markle’s parents."

According to Clarence House, the wedding will take place in Spring 2018. It will be the biggest royal wedding since his brother Prince William walked down the aisle with Kate Middleton in 2011. It is the first time a direct heir to the throne has been set to wed an American since King Edward VIII abdicated to marry Wallis Simpson in 1937. (Harry is fifth in line, behind his father, Prince Charles, William and Kate’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.)

In a statement, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip said they were “delighted for the couple and wish them every happiness," while Markle’s parents — Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland — said they were “incredibly happy” about the engagement. Watch their first interview beneath:

Nicki Minaj Has A 'Minaj À Trois' On Racy 'PAPER' Cover

11/21/2017 0

Trying to break the Internet Kim Kardashian style. Nicki Minaj lets it all hang out in a racy photo shoot for the Winter 2017 issue of 'PAPER' magazine, which explicitly shows three different version of the multi-platinum rapper playing and pleasuring each other.

In the magazine shot by Ellen von Unwerth, the 34-year-old sounds off on acting being her first love, social media and the possibly of a joint album with Beyoncé. Read excerpts below:

On Acting:
"I would love to do more acting. Acting is my first love. Of course, right now is the music portion of my life, but, you know, I can multitask. I don’t see myself doing something now that’s going to require too much time in terms of being on a set for six months, but I’m always open to at least discuss something in acting. I’ll always have the acting bug — I’ve had it since I was in elementary school. I was always doing plays and then went to a performing arts high school here in Manhattan. So I can’t see my life without it, but it definitely takes second position to my music."

On Social Media:
"I’ve always been very active with my fans, and so they expect me to speak to them when I put out something new. They expect me to ask their opinions, and they’re usually really excited when something comes out so they wanna have the chance to express themselves, and I like to give them that opportunity. But there are times where I take social media completely off my phone. I think that it’s important to deactivate sometimes and unplug yourself from the matrix, because as great as it’s been for my career, it can be unhealthy to certain people as well. If you don’t know how to control your emotions, if you don’t know how to think before you speak, it can also get you in a lot of trouble. [But] it remains something positive in my life, because even before my first album — with my three mixtapes — I was on Twitter all the time, talking to my fans about every song on every mixtape. So nothing has changed. I guess when artists become bigger they tend to shift their social media presence, but I’m just one of those artists that hasn’t done that."

On Joint Album Possibilities:
"I would be open to doing [that] if the time was right. I haven’t thought too much about that, though. The only person that I’ve seen a lot of people speak on, when talking about an album of that caliber, is Beyoncé ’cause we did ‘Flawless (Remix)’ and ‘Feeling Myself’ and we’ve actually performed together. I always see a lot of people saying, ‘Oh my gosh, a joint album with you guys would be really dope,’ but, you know, those are the kinds of things that are just wishful thinking from fans."

Jennifer Aniston & Reese Witherspoon Drama Series Receives 2-Season Order From Apple

11/08/2017 0

Jennifer Aniston is returning to television!!! In her first role since her Emmy-winning turn on 'Friends', the actress is teaming up with Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon for a morning show drama series, which has received a two-season order from Apple.

DEADLINE: Apple is making an official entry into the scripted series arena under Jamie Erlicht & Zack Van Amburg, heads of the recently formed worldwide video programming division. In a competitive situation, with multiple networks pursuing, Apple has landed the hot morning show drama series project, executive produced by and starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, with a two-season, straight-to-series order. It is one of the first two original scripted series at Apple, along with Amazing Stories, a reimagining of the anthology from Steven Spielberg and Bryan Fuller, which has closed a deal for a straight-to-series order.

Apple is believed to be employing a model similar to Netflix’s, with straight-to-series orders and premiums over cost, which vary from show to show. Coincidentally, Netflix also made a splash in the original scripted series space by outbidding traditional networks with a two-season straight-to-series order for a hotly pursued drama package that had a big star attached, House Of Cards.

The morning show series, which will produce 10 episodes a season, comes from studio Media Res, with founder Michael Ellenberg also executive producing. Based on an original idea by Ellenberg, the series is written and executive produced by Jay Carson (House of Cards), who will serve as showrunner. It is described as an inside look at the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning, exploring the unique challenges faced by the women (and men) who carry out this daily televised ritual.

The drama marks the return to TV for former Friends star Aniston and a followup to the Emmy-winning first installment of HBO limited series Big Little Lies for Witherspoon. (A second installment is in the works.) The series also reunites the duo after Witherspoon’s guest star turn as Aniston’s sister on Friends.

Aniston executive produces through her Echo Films banner; Witherspoon through her Hello Sunshine production company, and Ellenberg through Media Res. Under the model employed by Media Res, Witherspoon and Aniston will have ownership in the series.

Zayn Talks Sophomore Solo Album In 'Billboard' Magazine

11/04/2017 0

Zayn, one of the original members of One Direction, covers the new issue of Billboard magazine. The 24-year-old cutie has already topped the charts as a solo artist with his debut album ('Mind of Mine') and single ("Pillowtalk"), and he opens up to the publication about his sophomore album and overcoming the anxiety which has prevented him from touring.

On His Sophomore Album:
"I think I’m like 90 percent of the way there. But I’m still working on stuff and trying to decide what goes on the album and what comes off."

On Touring:
"It definitely helped identify in my own mind where I want to be as an entertainer. For a long time I’ve struggled with, 'Where is Zayn as a performer?' I don’t want [my show] to be too eccentric or out there, because I’m not that kind of personality. I’m quite a reserved person, and I feel like [the vibe] sort of fits me and what I want to do onstage."

On Being Misunderstood:
"I don’t do things that I wouldn't buy into. I try to explain that to people and hope that they understand -- it doesn't come from a place of being arrogant or above anything."

On His Supermodel Girlfriend Gigi Hadid:
"It’s actually not that hard for us. It helps that she’s really organized. Thank God! Because I’m really not, so she helps organize my schedule around seeing her."

Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez Sizzle On Glamorous 'Vanity Fair' Cover

11/03/2017 0

J-Rod bring the heat on Vanity Fair!!!

In their first photo shoot as a couple, Jennifer Lopez and her beau Alex Rodriguez bring their power couple status and glamorous life to the magazine's December issue, where they dish on their awkward first date, why they feel like they are kindred spirits and why they work better as a couple now than if they had pursued each other before.

On Their First Date
Lopez: "He was sitting there in his white shirt, very confident and manly, but then he was just so talkative! I think he thought I was going to be this loud person, but I'm not. I just listen. So he’s talking, talking about his plans, about how he had just retired from baseball, about how he saw himself getting married again, all these things you wouldn’t normally talk about on a first date. I don't know if he thought it was a date. I thought it was a date."

Rodriguez: "She told me around the third or fourth inning that she was single. I had to get up and go re-adjust my thoughts. I went to the bathroom and got enough courage to send her a text … 'You look sexy AF' "

On Being Kindred Spirits
Rodriguez: "We are very much twins. We're both Leos; we're both from New York; we're both Latino and about 20 other things."

Lopez: "I understand him in a way that I don’t think anyone else could, and he understands me in a way that no one else could ever. In his 20s, he came into big success with the biggest baseball contract [at the time]. I had a No. 1 movie and a No. 1 album and made history. We both had ups and downs and challenges in our 30s, and by our 40s we'd both been through so much. And more importantly than anything, we had both done a lot of work on ourselves."

On Why They Wouldn't Have Worked Years Ago
Lopez: "We had to grow and discover ourselves first. A lot of people I've met in my life, they don’t appreciate what they’re doing and how amazing it is … not the greatness of the house, but the moment of sitting there with someone you love, with a family, with healthy kids."
