Mariah Carey spoke with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM earlier this week where she announced that she will be going on tour beginning this November in support of her latest album E=MC². No further details have been revealed yet.Carey will be performing a mini-concert as part of the second annual Samsung AT&T Summer Krush, a free summer concert series designed to highlight Samsung’s music-centric BlackJack II mobile phone.
The concert series launches July 31st with a 35-minute performance by Carey at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, CA. Portions of the concert will be broadcast later that evening on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
The diva will also release a new fragrance with Elizabeth Arden this September called Luscious Pink by Mariah Carey. The follow-up to last year’s M by Mariah Carey scent will feature Tahitian tiare flower and hints of lily of the valley, pink peony, and white musk.
I can't say I'm exactly happy about this because Mariah's voice isn't really capable of doing a tour right now or anytime in future for that matter. I still stick by my statement saying she needs to just use a backing track and put more into the actual performance, which has long been her weak suit.

Beyonce Knowles’ fans will be happy to learn that she’s releasing not just one but two new albums – the first in November 2008 and the second in February 2009 via Music World Entertainment/Columbia Records. As previously reported, the yet to be titled projects are scheduled to feature productions from Jack Splash (Estelle Swaray, John Legend), Beau Dozier (Nicole Scherzinger, Vanessa Hudgens), Jim Jonsin (Teedra Moses, LeToya Luckett), Kerry “Krucial” Brothers (Keyshia Cole, Alicia Keys), Stargate: Tor Erik Hermansen & Mikkel Storleer Eriksen (Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks), Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Toni Braxton, Jennifer Lopez), Eric Hudson (Brandy Norwood, Whitney Houston) and Reginald “Scyience” Perry (Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson).Another hitmaker roped in for the project is Chad Beatz - best known for belting Ashanti’s duet with Robin Thicke, “Things You Make Me Do”. The track he’s crafted is entitled “Strobe Light”, and it was written by Mary Brown (“Bad Girl” – Danity Kane / “No, No, No” – Destiny’s Child).
I'm guessing one of the albums will be a soundtrack to one of the movies she's working on.

A heated debate popped off yesterday on The View. Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepard and Elizabeth Hasselbeck had it out over the nature, use and history of the “N-Word”, with Barbara Walters playing the relatively safe moderator. Check it out:
