Celebrity Bug's Top 10 NBA Players & Teams Of 2014

The 2013-2014 NBA season officially wrapped in April and the playoffs that followed saw the San Antonio Spurs defeat the Miami Heat to secure another championship, but all of this passed by without us doing our sixth annual countdown of the Top 10 NBA Players Of 2014 and Top 10 NBA Franchises Of 2014.

Based on their performances through April 2014, the list sees LeBron James fall from the top the list and it also sees the injury-plagued Kobe Bryant drop from the list for the first time in his career. Peep the top selections and the nine other entries in no particular order beneath:

Celebrity Bug's Top 10 NBA Players & Teams

The 2012-2013 NBA season officially wrapped in April and the playoffs that followed saw the Miami Heat repeat as champions, but all of this passed by without us doing our fifth annual countdown of the Top NBA Players and NBA Franchises of 2013.

Based on their performances through April, the list sees the eventually MVP, LeBron James, top the list for the first time in his career, while despite his age, Achilles injury and team troubles, Kobe Bryant, remains a viable force on the list given his incredible showing throughout the season to will his team into the playoffs. Lakers

With the NBA Playoffs in motion, here is our countdown of the top 10 NBA teams of the current season (2010 - 2011), and our Finals predictions.

01. Los Angeles Lakers
02. Chicago Bulls
03. San Antonio Spurs
04. Boston Celtics
05. Miami Heat
06. Oklahoma City Thunder
07. Dallas Mavericks
08. New York Knicks
09. Orlando Magics
10. Denver Nuggets

Conference Predictions
For the West, it is a toss-up between the Lakers and the Thunder (we tend to side more with the former than the ladder), while the Boston Celtics will prevail in the East, leading to a rematch of last year's NBA Finals.

NBA Finals Predictions
Barring an more injuries to leader Kobe Bryant or the dominant center Andrew Bynum, the Lakers win third consecutive championship, but without effective contributions from both players, Boston succeeds.

With the NBA Playoffs set to start on April 17th, here is Celebrity Bug's annual countdown of our ten favorite NBA teams of the current season (2009 - 2010), and our predictions for the upcoming 2010 NBA Finals.

Sports
1. Cleveland Cavaliers
2. Orlando Magics
3. Los Angeles Lakers
4. Dallas Mavericks
5. Boston Celtics
6. Phoenix Suns
7. Denver Nuggets
8. Atlanta Hawks
9. Utah Jazz
10. Oklahoma City Thunder

Conference Predictions:
Led by Kobe Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers will prevail for the third time in the West, while the Cleveland Cavaliers finally added enough tools with their trade to pass the Orlando Magics for the title in the East.

NBA Finals Predictions:
To put it simply, it comes down to Lebron James and Kobe Bryant, and what each of the men do to help their teams succeed. Our votes belongs to the Los Angeles Lakers for the second consecutive year.
