Danity Kane’s D. Woods celebrated her 24th birthday over the Fourth of July weekend at Luckie Food Lounge in Atlanta. She was joined by DK’s Aubrey, Shannon, Dawn, and Aundrea, plus Gorilla Zoe, Lloyd, producer/songwriter Bryan-Michael Cox, Akon’s group Rock City, “Project Runway’s” Mychael Knight, and many other friends and family.
D. Woods and her songwriting crew The Girls Club kicked things off with an ’80s tribute performance of Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U” followed by Aubrey O’Day’s cover of Madonna’s “Like a Virgin.” The night also featured performances from D. Woods’ sister Shanell, Mika Means, Rock City, and Danity Kane doing “Sucka For Love” off their latest album. D. Woods shut it down with Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” while DJ Jazzy Jeff rocked the ones and twos.
