Mary J. Blige has signed on to star alongside Taraji P. Henson in "I Can Do Bad All by Myself," Tyler Perry's upcoming film for Lionsgate.The movie, which based on his play of the same name, is set for a nationwide release on September 11.
Blige, will portray a nightclub manager and singer, who is a good friend to Henson's character. Perry's signature character Madea will be featured in the film.
Lensing is taking place at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta.
