Superstar Beyonce gets teary-eyed in video for "Broken-Hearted Girl", while Kanye West notches an appearance in the remix video for "Ego", both of which hail from the newly released Above and Beyoncé Video Collection & Dance Mixes DVD/CD collection.
Beautiful video. The concept of love lost is depicted with a raw, emotional essence and the dramatic coloring towards the end only enhanced the clip. The songstress looked stunning, and aside from "If I Were A Boy", this was one of my favorite visual offerings from the songstress during the 'I Am..Sasha Fierce' era.
This is basically the same video as the original, other than the newly added Kanye West appearance. That said, even after several views, my original opinion remains in effect. The choregraphy and song are hot, but the whole video just feels very lazy on Ms. Knowles-Carter's part.
