Singer Mariah Carey slams Eminem in the video for "Obsessed", the first single from her new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. The Brett Ratner-directed clip leaked on Tuesday, but officially premiere on last night's episode of 'America's Got Talent'.
To get the good squared away first, the singer looked stunning and the video was cute, but that pretty much sums it up. On the opposite end of the spectrum, one can not overlooked the fact that Mariah is nearing forty and has chosen to return to the limelight with such a mediocore and inappropriate track. As it was originally said, the track would have fared much better if it had been done by a singer in their twenties or early thirties, but with Mariah it just seems like a joke and not a very good one at that.
Back to the video, it takes elements from the movie 'Mean Girls' and features the songstress portraying a knockoff version of Eminem, but none of that overrides the fact that Mariah is capable of better.
