Carrie Underwood will unveil a new song every Tuesday until the release of her third album, Play On, on November 3rd. "Mama's Song" is the first song from the project to be released through this deal with I-tunes.
The slower cut pays tribute to her mother for teaching her how to navigate life, while also acknowledging the end of her search for the right man. I wouldn't describe the track as bland, given it is a nice and solid offering, but it just doesn't have that extra factor that has been embedded in ninety-five percent of the songs that comprise her stellar debut and sophomore efforts.
