The King of Pop lives on with "This Is It", a previously unreleased track from Michael Jackson, which features his brothers on backing vocals and was recorded during the sessions for 1991's Dangerous. The track is lifted from the soundtrack for his highly-anticipated This Is It documentary, which will be released on October 27th (a day prior to the film's release).
The song does sound a tad bit dated, which is understandable, given it was recorded over 18 years ago. Not a bad song, but given the ultra perfectionist he was when it came to his music, it probably isn't something that he would have chosen to release himself had he made it to see the tour through.
That said, since it is readily known that the singer has tons of unreleased music stored up, which I'm sure will start seeing release in the years to come, I'm personally more interested in hearing the material that he recorded in recent years (from 2001's Invincible to his untimely death).
