After moderate success with last year's "T-Shirt", Barbados-born songstress Shontelle returns for round two with "Licky", the first single from her forthcoming sophomore album (due in early 2010).
While it is a detour from the music that comprised her debut, I think it has a catchy and radio friendly vibe that will allot her a greater chance at success than her material in the past. I could easily picture Britney Spears recording this and sending it straight into Billboard's Top 10, so maybe things will work out that way for Ms. Layne.
