After nearly 10 years, beloved songstress Sade returns with "Soldier of Love", the title track and lead single from her new album (due February 8th, 2010).
Nice cut. One of the things that has always been intriguing about Sade's voice is that is very limited (much like a bulk of today's songstresses), yet it possesses enough soul to convey emotions that singers with much larger ranges still have trouble doing.
Starting with introductory horns, the haunting sound of production matches well in unison with her deeply-rooted vocals and to put it simply, if this is any indication of what's to come, the wait may be well worth it.
