With her fourth album 'Bionic' set for release in April, Christina Aguilera has unveiled "Spotlight", a new cut from the soundtrack to her upcoming movie, Burlesque, which also features legendary entertainer Cher.
Continuing her fascination with old-school sounds, Aguilera delivers an uptempo cut that is in the lane of the material on 2006's Back to Basics.
Laced with great production and vocals that showcase that dynamic range of hers, it has a Jazz and Blues feel, and although her experimentation with the sound has left fans split, it's hard to deny the fact that she has found a way to deliver a balance of both the old and the new.
