Country star Taylor Swift has released two songs from her upcoming album 'Speak Now', in the form of the title track and "Back to December".
"Speak Now": Slated to serve as the second single, the track sees the singer interrupting a wedding, which sees her former beau serving as the groom.
By no means is the cut a standout track, but it is another testament of her ability to make her songs feels like young adult novels, which has helped her embed a connective thread to her core audience (Listen Below).
"Back to December": Marking the first time she has elected to apologized to a ex-boyfriend on a record, the singer shows her vulnerable side and unleashes what is easily the best track of the 'Speak Now' era thus far.
"I'd go back in time and change it but I can't, so if the chain is on your door I understand", she sings on the self-penned track (Listen Below).
