Comeback kid Chris Brown and Adele, who has the year's best-selling album with '21', are expected to hit the stage at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
The star-studded event, which will also feature a performance from Lil' Wayne, is set to take place live at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on August 28, 2011.
Additional performers/presenters are scheduled to be revealed at a later date.
