The wait is finally over. People magazine has named 36-year-old star Bradley Cooper as the Sexiest Man Alive 2011, causing a debate among some fans.
While there is no denying that Bradley, who is armed with heavenly baby blues and a killer smile, is easy on the eyes, his momentum was at its peak last year, so the honor would have seemed more fitting from the weekly publication then.
This year, however, has been all about Ryan Gosling, who we recently named the Most Beautiful Man of 2011. Not only did Ryan transform his slightly boyish physique into leading man form (see: 'Crazy, Stupid, Love'), but he headlined three films ('Drive' & 'Ides of March') in 2011 and looked damn good doing it.
In People's defense, the 31-year old was included on the list, along with Jason Momoa, Idris Elba, Tim McGraw, Chris Evans, Liam Hemsworth and more.
