On Saturday (Jan. 28), blues singer Etta James was laid to rest in in Gardena, California, and at the family's request, Christina Aguilera attended the home- going celebration and honored the singer with a stirring rendition of "At Last".
Clad in all black, Aguilera called James, the "one that cut right through my soul", and this performance reaffirmed that the "Beautiful" star is in a league of her own when she makes a concerted effort to control her vocals. Watch her below:
