Opening to a record-breaking weekend, 'The Avengers' raked in an impressive $207.4 million to move right past 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2' ($169.2 million), to claim the biggest opening weekend ever for a feature film.
The superhero collaboration is also the fastest movie ever to reach $100 million, $150 million and $200 million, and it has established brand new records for both Saturday ($69.6 million) and Sunday ($57.1 million) grosses. Congratulations!!!
