Final sales figures are in and Kelly Clarkson has scored her third chart-topping on the Billboard 200 as her newest studio album, 'Piece By Piece', debuts in the summit position with with 97,000 units, which includes 83,000 in traditional albums sales.
As the first winner of 'American Idol', she becomes only the second contestant from the show to score three No.1 albums. Carrie Underwood, the fourth season winner, who notched No.1 debuts with 'Carnival Ride' (2007), 'Play On' (2009) and 'Blown Away' (2012), was the first.
Rounding out the top 5 on this weeks chart are: 'The Fifty Shades of Grey' soundtrack at No.2 (96,000 units), '1989' by Taylor Swift in third (77,000 units), 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late' by Drake in fourth (73,000 units) and 'x' by Ed Sheeran in the fifth spot (63,000 units).
