Kanye West Accepts Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award



On Sunday (August 30th), Kanye West had a full circle moment with Taylor Swift as she presented him with The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards - six years after he infamously interrupted her speech at the telecast.

After rambling on about the first instance and how he might react differently now that he has a daughter of his own, West kept the audience on their toes throughout the 13-minute speech, which he ended by announcing his bid for presidency in 2020.

"And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president," he said before dropping the mic and walking off stage to hugs from wife Kim Kardashian West and Swift. Watch the full speech and sound off beneath:
