'Joker' star Joaquin Phoenix has won the Oscar for Best Actor at the 92nd Academy Awards on Sunday, February 9th, for his out of this world performance as Batman’s nemesis.
Phoenix was the overwhelming favorite coming into the night and beat out worthy contenders including Antonio Banderas, Leonardo DiCaprio, Adam Driver and Jonathan Pryce.
