Before Kobe Bryant led the Los Angeles Lakers to a victory in Game 2, American Idol winner Kris Allen started the NBA Finals showdown by singing "The Star Spangled Banner".
Although we were planted firmly behind Kris on American Idol, we can't say his rendition of the nation's anthem leaves us with much to shout about, given it seemed very lazy and sluggish. That said, it isn't a bad rendition, just nothing more than okay.
