Nice and fitting performance for the finale, given it marks the show's return to New York. Alicia Keys sounded great and Jay-Z held his own with a refreshing sense of tenacity. As for Lil' Mama, I'll do exactly what Alicia and Jay did, and ignore her stupidity.
As a whole, I felt this was one of the better produced and most efficient cast of performers a show has embodied in recent memory. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about the line-up of performers, given I felt all of them delivered in their own right. Still, the standouts remain Janet Jackson, Lady GaGa and Pink.
