As always, the words generic and average, can be used to described Taylor Swift's vocal abilities, which is blatantly put on display in this performance.
That said, the fact that she had to endure some ignorant behavior from Kanye West (literally minutes before the performance), and given she is one of the few country artists that actually tries to put on a show that doesn't exclusively encompass standing there with a microphone, all works her in favor.
