Leading man Robert Pattinson will next be seen starring in the period tale 'Bel Ami', which has been picked-up in the USA by Sony Pictures for a spring release.
The forthcoming movie, adapted from Guy De Maupassant's novel, follows the exploits of Georges Duroy (Robert Pattinson) and his rise to power in Paris by manipulating the town's influential and wealthy women (Christina Ricci, Kristin Scott Thomas, Uma Thurman). While it has become easy for people to write the 'Water for Elephants' stud off, simply because he rose to fame with 'Twilight'. It should be noted that out of the franchise's three breakout stars, he has tried to challenge himself as an actor by taking on serious and complex characters. What more can anyone ask for?
