Hip-hop superstar Drake has full control of the Billboard charts with his new album, 'Views', debuting at the top spot with over a million equivalent album units moved and "One Dance", becoming his first No.1 single on the Hot 100 as a lead artist.
The highly-anticipated disc earned 1.04 million equivalent album units in the week ending May 5th in the United States, and traditional album sales comprised 852,000 copies of that sum.
Additionally, the Grammy-winning rapper earns his first No.1 in a lead role, following two toppers as a featured artist, both on tracks with Rihanna as the lead: "What's My Name?" (one week, 2010) and "Work", which spent its last of nine weeks at No. 1 three weeks ago. Congrats!!!
