R&B star Ashanti performed a new song from her upcoming The Declaration, due June 3rd. 'Mother', is produced by the legendary Babyface, which is inspired by Ashanti's close bond with her own mother. Check it out below:
Great Song. Ashanti is really impressing me this time around, I like a lot of others was skeptical if she could pull off a return after being gone from the music scene for nearly four years, but if she keeps coming with the heat like 'The Way That I Love You" and this, she isn't going to have any problems. Also, you really have to give this girl credit for her songwriting skills, I still wonder why she isn't like the female Ne-Yo, because when it comes to that pen she's sick. That's right, her pen game is off the chain. Not even Neyo has a thing on her. But anyway, I DARE anyone to find something negative to say from this performance. It's flawless. She's doing it big this time around. And she will be getting gramys.
