2009 Grammy Awards Breakdown: Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals

Nominees:
Lesson Learned - Alicia Keys & John Mayer
4 Minutes - Madonna, Justin Timberlake & Timbaland
Rich Woman - Robert Plant & Alison Krauss
If I Never See Your Face Again - Rihanna & Maroon 5
No Air - Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown

Who Should Win?
Its a toss-up, because although there's no denying the complete musicality of Alicia Keys and John Mayer, the collaboration between Jordin and Chris also makes a strong compelling argument. That said, if the Grammys truly go by vocals, then Alicia and John will be adding to their already impressive collection, however, I wouldn't be mad at either of the two.

Who Will Win?
Alicia and John or Robert and Allision, because their all Grammy favorites.

Who Should Have Been Nominated?
The Babyface and LA Reid project, 'Just Stand Up', which saw a staggering 15 females all joining forces in efforts to support a worthy cause. Not only was this vocally, better than a bulk of the nominees, it also represented a great moment in music.

Who Shouldn't Be Nominated?
Madonna, Justin Timberlake & Timbaland, which featured rather lifeless vocals, that said, I don't think the song was particularly bad, it just wasn't worthy of being named one of the five best pop collaborations of the year, which is essentially what these nominees represent.
