2009 Grammy Red Carpet Arrivals

R&B singer Letoya Luckett strikes a confident pose on the red carpet of the 51st annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.

Academy Awarding winning actress Jennifer Hudson added a Grammy to her collection for Best R&B Album. As for her RM Roland Mouret dress, I wasn't a fan. The singer was accomplained by her fiance, David Otunga.



Carrie Underwood, who collected her fourth trophy for 'Best Female Country Vocal Performance' rocked a marvelous floor-length Zuhair Murad beaded gown. There really was no BEST DRESSED WOMAN, but if I had to choose, she would be my pick.

Solange wore a yellow BCBG mini dress, which marks one of her better fashion statements, even though that says very little.



Taylor Swift's black Kaufman Franco dress, looked extremely reminiscent of something the country songstress wore in past. That said, she looked nice.

Miley Cyrus sported a sophisticated black one-shoulder Max Azria gown, which made her look well beyond her sixteen years.

The Jonas Brothers kept it classy in tasty tailored tuxedos. These guys have consistently gotten it right lately. BEST DRESSED MEN.

English band Coldplay managed to win three awards, including Song of the Year for their smash "Viva La Vida".
