Grammy-winning songstress Ashanti, joined by director Thomas Kail and music director Alex Lacamoire, gave a special behind-the-scenes, sneak peek performance of her stage debut as Dorothy in the New York City Center Encores! Summer Stars production of The Wiz, for the media on May 19th.
The singer looked great and what continues to impress me about her is that she seems extremely motivated and happy no matter what task she's taking on. Gotta love and admire her drive.
