Grammy winner Ciara made her first appearance on NBC's Saturday Night Live, last night, where she performed "Love Sex Magic" with host Justin Timberlake and slowed things down with a solo performance of "Never Ever".
Electrifying performance. The vocals were far from great on Ciara's spectrum, but the intense choreography made this performance a stunning winner. That said, I was a tad bit disappointed that Justin remain behind the piano for the entire performance and that they didn't try to recapture some of the magic from the video, which I'm sure had a lot to do with his girlfriend Jessica Biel being there. The James Brown breakdown was absolutely phenomenal and she continues to prove that she is hands down the best dancer out right now, male or female.
I found this whole performance pitchy beyond belief, despite that there was no dancing, and she has definitely seen better moments. That said, she did the best she could with the limited vocals she has to work with.
