IDOL RECAP: TOP 12 SING FOR SURVIVAL

Last night, the top 12 contestants' performances on 'American Idol' were aired with each of the contestants tackling a song from the year of birth. Watch our favorite performances and see who we think should be sent packing:

Top 12 (2011)

Best

Pia Toscano - "Where Do Broken Hearts Go"

Honorable

Lauren Alaina - "I'm the Only One"

Bottom 3

As always on 'American Idol' with the great performances also comes the bad and the following three performances are the contestants that we think should make-up the bottom three, as well as, who should be eliminated.

Haley Reinhart - "I'm Your Baby Tonight"

Karen Rodriguez - "Love Will Lead You Back"

Naima Adedapo - "What's Love Got to Do With It"

Once again, if American chooses one of these three contestants (or the extremely boring Thia Megia), they have gotten it completely right, given all three ladies churned out less than stellar vocal performances.

Haley, who we actually has a unique tone and vocal delivery, clearly has the most potential of the three, but since she barely escaped elimination in the previous week and still failed to choose a decent song, she isn't a lock to stay.

With that said, Naima A., who miraculously escaped the bottom three last week, or Karen, who consistently chooses songs bigger than her voice, should be sent pack with our vote leaning more towards the former than the ladder.
