Ashanti returns to the music scene with a new album and label. As the R&B star preps for her currently untitled fifth studio album, Ashanti and her label, Written Entertainment, have inked a new worldwide distribution and label services deal.
The first single to be released under Ashanti's new partnership with eOne Music is "The Woman You Love" featuring recently-signed Cash Money rapper, Busta Rhymes. The Jerry Wonder-produced record is currently available on i-Tunes.
In an accompanying press release, Ashanti says: "I'm so excited to have my own record label, Written Entertainment. With eOne as my distributor, I feel that their innovative and ambitious approach to the music industry, really gives my label a worldwide presence. As a business [black] woman this was a great move for me!"
