Female emcee Nicki Minaj was honored as the Songwriter of the Year at the 2013 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards for her hit single, "Starships", but the awkward moment came when Trina to tribute the rapper by performing "Moment For Life".
Channeling Minaj in a red get-up and blonde wig, the veteran had tongues wagging that the tribute should have been the other way around given she made her debut on the scene long before the Young Money star. That said, despite how much it says about the status of her career, you can't help but respect a female having enough confidence to honor an artist that she helped pave the way for.
