6x-Grammy winner Carrie Underwood was one of the featured performers at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
The country music superstar was on hand to tribute to the landmark year of 1963 with a performance of the Beatles' timeless hit "Yesterday", and as we have come to expect from the star, she deliver a stunning rendition that garnished approval from a member.
Following the performance, the 30-year-old 'Sound of Music' star tweeted, "The coolest thing about singing "Yesterday" on the #Emmys is the sweet letter I got from @PaulMcCartney giving me his blessing to sing it!" Watch her performance beneath:
