Pop star and fashion mogul Jessica Simpson is one of the celebrity mentors of NBC's competition 'Fashion Star', which is lined-up to premiere on March 13th.

The new show, which also features Elle MacPherson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos, offers a new take on fashion showdowns, given the public will be able to buy the creations and the hopefuls who sell the least will be up for elimination.
