X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke unleashed the first live performance of her brand new single "Bad Boys", on on the first results show of this year’s X-Factor.



She killed it. Aside from being heavily backed on the vocal side, Ms. Burke's performance not only established that she isn't your typical boring talent show winner, but it also helps sell the song in general. Great Performance.

ALEXANDRA BURKE FEATURING FLO RIDA - 'BAD BOYS' [VIDEO]

X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke plays with "Bad Boys" and Flo Rida, in the video from her debut album's first single, which was directed by Bryan Barber.



While most have deemed the song and its accompanying visual as being "dead on arrival", personally, I think Ms. Burke nailed it on both aspects by delivering the unexpected and not conforming to the guidelines placed on talent show winners.

Clearly, her predecessor Leona Lewis has the better voice, but Ms. Lewis' performances and visual clips often mirror that of watching a snail cross the street, which is clearly the area that helps Ms. Burke even the score. Although I found her attempts at delivering sexiness to be quite contrived and visually bankrupt, she made up for it with hordes of confidence and some effective choreography. Well done.

Teairra Mari has finally premiered her video for the Flo Rida assisted, "Cause A Scene", which is the official second single from her forthcoming sophomore album, At That Point.



A humongous improvement over the horrid video for "Hunt 4 You", but I couldn't help but feel that it could have been so much more intense and dramatic. The glow in the dark choreography scene, towards the end, was cute and all in all, a nice video.
