Carrie Underwood Amazes At 2016 CMT Music Awards With 'Church Bells'

Last Wednesday (June 6th), Carrie Underwood delivered a show-stopping of her latest single "Church Bells", at the 2016 CMT Music Awards at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, where she backed by a choir and earned the show's only standing ovation of the night.



Aside from her performance, the country superstar arrived on the carpet with her hockey player husband Mike Fisher and picked up two buckles for Performance of the Year and Female Video of the Year - extending her record as the show's most awarded artist. Watch it beneath:



Superb!!! After a string of sub-par performances of "Smoke Break" and "Heartbeat", which never should have been in the first place despite going to No.1, it great to Underwood back to deliver top notch performances with the third single from 'Storyteller'.

Country superstar Carrie Underwood left the crowd breathless with an emotional performance at the 2013 CMT Music Awards, which were held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, June 5th.

The country singer performed her new single, "See You Again", with a 24-voice choir from Nashville Christ Church as a somber tribute to the victims. Country vocalists Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood each hit the stage and battled in the Female Video and Video of the Year categories at the 2013 CMT Music Awards, which saw Swift come up empty handed.

Lambert unleashed her fiery with a performance of her No.1 single "Mama's Broken Heart", Swift brought her pop appeal with a "Red" showing and Underwood delivered the best performance of the night with a heartfelt performance of "See You Again".
