Hip-hop icon Dr. Dre reemerges with the official video for "Kush", featuring Snoop Dogg and Akon, the first offering from his new album 'Detox'.

Pop starlet Katy Perry has released the highly-anticipated video for her summer smash "California Gurls", which features rapper Snoop Dogg and currently holds the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Soul man Robin Thicke recently premiered his steamy new video for "It's in the Morning", which hails from his latest album 'Sex Therapy'.

Katy Perry, who tops this year's Maxim Hot 100, enlists the help of Snoop Dogg on "California Gurls", the lead single from her forthcoming sophomore album 'Teenage Dream', which will be released on August 24th.

Produced by Dr. Luke, who hemmed the two major hits of her career with "I Kissed A Girl" and "Hot N' Cold", the 90's inspired uptempo simply and surprisingly works as it not only embodies the feel and vibe of summer, but also features a catchy chorus that easily rolls off the tip of your tongue.

With a decade of shows under its belt, MTV's 'Total Request Live' (TRL), was bought to a star-studded close last night. Taped live from New York's famed Times Square, 'Total Finale Live' featured performances from Beyonce, 50 Cent and Ludacris, Nelly and Snoop Dogg. Check it out below:

Great Performances. Only one word comes to mind in reference to Beyonce and that's WOW.

On the other hand, I'm really sad to see TRL go, but the show literally had too much going on with 5 guests every show and the countdown, the hour was jam packed allowing the interviews to be overly short and only broadcasting 0.44444 seconds of a video, not to mention the bad time slot. IMO, the show lost steam when Carson Daily's reign as host ended, so with all of that taken into account, the lack of viewers was a given.
