Over the weekend, Solange made a dazzling debut during her first appearance as a musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live', where she performed "Cranes In The Sky" and "Don't Touch My Hair", from her critically-acclaimed 'A Seat At the Table' album.

The vocals were lacking in parts, but overall, it was a winning outing from Solo. Watch it below:

Last week, Solange scored her first chart-topping album on the Billboard 200 as 'A Seat At the Table', released on September 30th after a September 27th announcement, launched with 72,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week of release.

The album, which will be released in physical on November 18th, also place Solange in the history books with her sister Beyonce as they are now among the few pairs of solo siblings to have scored chart-topping albums. Previously, Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson managed the feat, and Master P and his brother Silkk the Shocker also managed the same feat.

The first crack in the picture perfect facade that Beyoncé and Jay Z have created with their envied relationship has emerged as video footage of the superstar's younger sister, Solange Knowles, attacking the Roc Nation mogul in an elevator.

Taking place at a Met Gala afterparty, the video apparently shows Solange arguing with her sister's husband, before taking a more aggressive approach by hitting and kicking him as a bodyguard tries to restrain her without much luck. Beyoncé, on the other hand, stands by and watches the action unfold. She is seen exchanging words with both parties at times and briefly steps in between them. Oh, what I would give to be a fly on the wall.

Eccentric star Solange collaborates with Refinery29 and Absolut Tune, as part of their 'Free Spirits' campaign, on the colorful video for "Locked In Closets".

Serving as the latest release from her 'True' EP, the video sees the mini music video sees the 26 year-old star take a journey through Brooklyn, posing in the streets, looking at photographs and dancing at a party. Watch the one and half minute video beneath:

Solange recently announced that her forthcoming EP, 'True', will be released digitally on November 27th with a physical release slated to follow in early 2013. As a result, the creative star has revealed the official cover and track list for the set.

Preceded by the single "Losing You", the set will feature just seven songs and is said to have a more dance-oriented vibe than her previous two studio releases. Peep the official track list and rewatch the new video for the EP's first single beneath:

The most creative and original member of the Knowles clan, Solange, returns with a fresh and inspired visual for "Losing You", the lead release from her third album.

Slated to be released in the coming months, the album follows her commercially disaappointing, but critically successful sophomore album 'Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams', which featured the singles "I Decided" and "Sandcastle Disco".
