
Many fans were left in disappointment when it was announced that Coldplay would headline the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show, but the hit-making band silenced naysayers by delivering a colorful and enjoyable show - even if they were upstaged by Beyoncé and Bruno Mars.
After the band cycled through their hits "Viva La Vida", "Paradise" and "Adventure Of A Lifetime", the pint-size showstopper delivered an energetic performance of his No.1 single "Uptown Funk" and then the curvy diva made a mighty entrance and caused quite a stir with a Black Panthers-inspired performance of her new single "Formation".
The set continued with a dance battle and a tribute to past halftime shows, as well as, references to the Black Lives Matter movement and continued equality for all. Watch it beneath:
