With her having to wear make-up to darken her complexion and even a fake nose, actress Zoe Saldana was the recipent of a lot of criticism after she was cast as Nina Simone in the long-delayed biopic 'Nina', which released in theaters and on VOD April 22nd.
The criticism seemed to have resurfaced today (March 1st) after the first official poster for the film, which also stars David Oyelowo, was released with some fans saying it was the equivalent to "blackface" and others saying it was just as much of an insult to darker skinned actresses as a white man being cast to play Michael Jackson.
