With her having to wear make-up to darken her complexion and even a fake nose, actress Zoe Saldana was the recipent of a lot of criticism after she was cast as Nina Simone in the long-delayed biopic 'Nina', which released in theaters and on VOD April 22nd.

The criticism seemed to have resurfaced today (March 1st) after the first official poster for the film, which also stars David Oyelowo, was released with some fans saying it was the equivalent to "blackface" and others saying it was just as much of an insult to darker skinned actresses as a white man being cast to play Michael Jackson. Stunning actress Blake Lively is gearing up to hit the promotional trail for her new film, 'The Age of Adaline', and ahead of its April 24th release date, Liongates has released a new poster for the romantic drama, which also stars Harrison Ford and Michiel Huisman.

Per the film's synopsis, "After miraculously remaining 29 years old for almost eight decades, Adaline Bowman has lived a solitary existence, never allowing herself to get close to anyone who might reveal her secret. But a chance encounter with charismatic philanthropist Ellis Jones reignites her passion for life and romance. When a weekend with his parents threatens to uncover the truth, Adaline makes a decision that will change her life forever." Sounds interesting!

Movie charmer Robert Pattinson gets ruffed up on the new promotional poster for 'The Rover', which premiered to pretty good reviews at the Cannes Film Festival and also stars Guy Pearce.

Variety has called it a "career-redefining performance" for the 'Twilight' hunk and with it slated to open in limited release on June 6th and wide on June 20th, Pattinson is gearing up for some more promotional for the forthcoming film, which is set in the Australian outback.

It follows a man (Pearce) who hunts down the gang of criminals who stole his car, forcing a wounded and abandoned member (Pattinson) of the gang to help track them. Watch the trailer beneath:

Within 24 hours of each other, new posters of 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and 'The Dark Knight Rises' have arrived from Sony and Warner Brothers (resp.).

Marc Webb's re-boot of the 'Spider-Man' franchise with Andrew Garfield as the web-slinger storms theaters on July 3rd, followed by the third and likely final film in Christopher Nolan's 'Batman' triptych with Christian Bale on July 20th.
