Carrie Underwood is Super Bowl ready!!! The country superstar teams up with hip-hop star Ludacris for the inspirational anthem "The Champion", which hit No.1 on iTunes shortly after its release on Friday and currently remains there.

The song, which is sure to be a staple at sporting events for years to come, was written specifically to open the Super Bowl and will also be featured in the Olympics.

The nominees for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, which will be hosted by Ciara and Ludacris, have been announced and The Weeknd leads the field with 19 nominations in 16 different categories, followed by Justin Bieber with 12 nominations.

Drake and Fetty Wap are both finalists 11 times in 10 categories, and Taylor Swift and Adele are both finalists for 8 awards at the May 22nd event. Peep the full list of nominees below:

On Thursday (July 10th), Ciara continued her week-long residency at '106 & Park' as a part of the promotional efforts for her newly-released album, 'Ciara'.
