Nearly 17 years after the release of his debut album, Tyrese has scored his very first chart-topping album as 'Black Rose', his sixth solo album, debuts at the summit of the Billboard 200 with sales equivalent to 77,000 album units earned in its first week.

Preceded by the singles "Dumb Shit" and the powerful "Shame", the album, which was released on July 10th via the crooner's own Voltron Recordz label, is his third disc to reach the top 10. He previously reached the region in 2011 with 'Open Invitation' and in 2001 with '2000 Watts'.

With his 'Black Rose' album set to debut at No.1 on the Billboard 200, Tyrese travels back to 1968 in the official video for his single "Shame", which co-stars Jennifer Hudson.

The video, which was produced by two-time Academy Award winner Denzel Washington, begins with the singer confessing his shortcomings as flashbacks are shown of his treating his wife, played by Hudson, less than satisfactory. Watch the powerful music video beneath:

R&B stud Tyrese throws it back to the Hype Williams era of classic black-and-white videos in the video for the Snoop Dogg-assisted "Dumb Shit", the first single from his forthcoming album 'Black Rose', which will be released July 7th via his Voltron Recordz label.

"Director Matt Alonzo and I had a ball making it. It's spring and as we warm up, I wanted to drop this dumb shit to get some energy going. This song ain't for saints, it's for real people who have made mistakes in relationships and did some dumb shit," the singer reveals. Watch it beneath:

On Saturday (November 1st), the first trailer for 'Furious 7', the latest installment in the hugely-succesful 'Fast & Furious' car flick franchise, premiered and judging by the trailer, we are in for one hell of thrill ride when the film races into theaters on April 3, 2015.

When R&B singers Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank announced that they were forming TGT, music fans rejoiced and although it took the trio more than three months to release a video for their first single, "Sex Never Felt Better", the clip has finally arrived.

Directed by Matt Alonzo, the single serves as the first release from their forthcoming studio album '3 Kings', which is scheduled for release on July 23rd and will be accompanied by the hunky trio's first summer tour. Watch the video beneath:

R&B singer Tyrese has unveiled the official album artwork for 'Open Invitation', his fifth studio set, which is slated to arrive in stores and online on November 1st.

The independent album is preceded by the dual singles "Too Easy" and "Stay".
