Leighton Meester is featured on the April 2012 cover of Marie Claire, where she chats about growing up and why she's indifferent to being in a relationships.

"I never had a boyfriend until I was 18. It's nice, I guess, when you like them. But it isn't the most important thing. I'm not sure I ever want to get married. The only time a relationship is good is when you really love them. I don't want to hang out with some guy I just like," - the 'Gossip Girl' says of her stance on relationships.

'Gossip Girl' starlet Leighton Meester continues to prep the release of her debut album 'Love Is A Drug', which will be preceded by "Somebody to Love" and her second single "Your Love's A Drug".

While Meester has still done very little to show her actual talent as a singer, there's no denying that she gets it right here. Arising as a catchy and infectious jam with a sexy side, it is complete with all the makings of good Pop song.

Pop star Leighton Meester stopped by 'It's On with Alexa Chung' to perform "Somebody to Love", from her forthcoming debut album (due in 2010).

Nothing positive to say about that performance, so we'll keep it moving and talk about her rendition of the yuletide classic "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)", from the collection, A Very Special Christmas 7 (available on I-Tunes).

The holiday-oriented cut talks about not feeling the Christmas spirit, because the one you love isn't there to celebrate the joyous occasion with you. It sounds really nice and shows off more of her vocal ability than her lead single "Somebody to Love", although they still appear to be rather flaccid. (3 out of 5)

While I still think the song does a poor job of presenting her as a viable artist, the video is like one big and sexy photo shoot as she models an array of fashions and strikes some utterly fierce poses.

'Gossip Girl' star Leighton Meester struggles to find love on "Somebody to Love", the Robin Thicke-assisted first single from her debut album (due in 2010).

While the song is straddled with a catchy and infectious nature, her talking and overall presence on the track fails to speak any volumes to her being a legitimately talented act. The song is quite good and the Robin Thicke feature is nice (and unexpected), but it leaves me with the feeling that her 'so-called talent' relies on less from within and more in the hands of the production team.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester graces the cover of the September 2009 issue of Harper's Bazaar, which digitally enhances the star from her 20s to her 50s.

On Her Rumored Sex Tape:

"[The tape] is not real," she says bluntly, "so it makes me sort of sad. It's unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did." She pauses. "I definitely understand the nature of people better now and that the mere allegation of something like that could be headline news. People think it's real because somebody says it is."

On Her Actor Boyfriend Sebastian Stan:

"I'm doing everything I can to keep things separate," she said of keeping her relationships private. "I feel like my friends are in a cult because we're like, 'No outsiders.' I've never been crazy. I'm a very good girl, to be honest. I don't do anything to hurt anybody. Honestly, all I ever do is work."

On Cosmetic Enhancements:

"If you get a wrinkle, I don't feel that's indicative of your losing ground," she said. "That's ridiculous. But I do support Botox. If people want that, do it."

'Gossip Girl' star Leighton Meester appeared on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show', to talk about her interesting upbringing, the cast of her show, and music.

In other Leighton Meester news, she has signed a deal with Universal Republic through Time-Act Music to release her debut album in the fall.

The 23-year-old actress began recording material, described as having an "electro-pop edge", for the project in March and has clocked studio time with producers Polow Da Don (Usher, Fergie), Harvey Mason, Jr. (Justin Timberlake, Pink ) and Spencer Nezey (Jupiter Rising).
