HONORABLE MENTION

MOST DISAPPOINTING SEASONS
The revived series 'The Game', which somehow morphed into more of a drama than a comedy, 'Desperate Housewives', which took a risk that did not pay off by bringing back characters from the its first season, and 'One Tree Hell', which has simply worn out its welcome.

Celebrity Bug's Top 10 TV Shows

6/01/2009 0
With the season finales of some of the biggest shows finally airing and bringing a close to the seasons, take at Celebrity Bug's top 10 shows (June 2008 - May 2009).

1. The Mentalist
2. Prison Break
3. Desperate Housewives
4. American Idol
5. Fringe
6. Friday Night Lights
7. Gossip Girl
8. Lie To Me
9. The Bachelor (Jason Mesnick)
10. Private Practice

Honorable Mention:
The now canceled 'Lipstick Jungle', 'Castle' and the reboot first season of '90210'.

From Good To Bad Awards:
The once addictive 'Grey's Anatomy' has travel from a shining gem to an annoying disaster with its repeated storylines and just plain out boring character additions. In addition, the Izzie brain tumor plot was ridiculous and quickly resulted in my television failing to check into Seatle Grace.

'Girlfriends' creator Mara Brock Akil hit us at the heart with the first season of 'The Game' with believable storylines and characters with depth and originality in their own rights, but as the third season came our way a lot of that seem to change. Suddenly, these lovable characters had become very predictable and the storylines, especially the break up and make up antics of Melanie and Derwin, tend to drag on too long to keep our interests peaked. With that said, the show has now been canceled and rightfully so IMO, but the writers did compensate somewhat by closing out most of the storylines.
