"Ignorance is sometimes not bliss; I really had no idea what I was doing, and it was all out of fun and respect for the character," she said. "I don't even know how to talk about it because it's such a sensitive topic. It makes me so sad to think that I was that dumb. I learned a big lesson."

Josh Duhamel, who was recently named one of the 50 Most Beautiful People of 2012, joins forces with Julianne Hough in the forthcoming film 'Safe Haven', which is the newest Nicholas Sparks romance story to be turned into a feature film.

Based on the novel of the same name, the Lasse Hallström directed flick follows a young woman with a mysterious past who lands in Southport, North Carolina, where her bond with a widower forces her to finally confront the dark secret that haunts her.

Country starlet Julianne Hough controls the radio on "I'll Be the DJ", a new song taken from the sessions of her sophomore album 'Wildfire', due in 2012.

Co-written by Carrie Underwood, the record does house the singer's musical imprint, but fortunately, Hough actually does a job of making the song her own.

Taylor Swift, who performed her single "You're Not Sorry, won album of the year for her multi-platinum smash "Fearless" and was also presented with a special "crystal milestone" award for selling the most albums of any country artist in 2008 -- a moment she clearly wasn't expecting.

"Oh my, thanks so much. I didn't know this was going to happen actually" Swift said in accepting the award.
