Golden Globe-winning actress Taraji P. Henson reunites with her 'I Can Do Bad All By Myself' collaborator Tyler Perry in the forthcoming thriller 'Acrimony', which co-stars Lyriq Bent and is set to hit theaters on March 30th.

This weekend brought forth a big win for Taraji P. Henson!!! The actress, who leads the cast of box-office hit 'Hidden Figures', crossed the $100 million mark at the box-office by collecting $14 million in its fifth week of release to brings its cumulative total to $104 million.

The $25 million-budgeted film, which also stars Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae, defied expectations and spent two consecutive weeks at the summit behind a vigorous marketing campaign by the studio and its stars, an A+ CinemaScore, and a 93% Rotten Tomatoes rating.

The Wrap: Fox and Chernin Entertainment’s “Hidden Figures” will take third place this weekend with an estimated $14 million, bringing its cumulative total up $104 million. The film starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae has been a critical and commercial success — the Oscar nominee holds a “Fresh” score of 93 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

The film also scored a Best Picture nomination at the upcoming Academy Awards and earlier tonight, won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Academy Award-nominee Taraji P. Henson, Academy Award-winner Octavia Spencer and Grammy-nominated music star Janelle Monáe, the incredibly talented cast of 'Hidden Figures', regally grace the February issue of Essence magazine.

The film, which is playing in select cities now, tells the untold story of three black women's groundbreaking efforts to send the first Americans into space in the 1960s. The women, also known as NASA's "colored computers", broke down racial and gender barriers.

Henson, who plays lead mathematician Katherine Johnson, told the magazine what it meant to her to portray her character. "When I was growing up, people told me out of their mouths math and science are for boys," she told the publication. "Like, no one showed me how to fall in love with numbers. If I had a teacher like Mrs. Johnson, who knows, I might be on the moon."

Nominated for her role on 'Empire', actress Taraji P. Henson was beaming in yellow as she arrived on the red carpet at the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, California.

Set to make a roaring return to television on September 23rd, Emmy nominee Taraji P. Henson and the cast of 'Empire', including Terrence Howard, Jussie Smollett, Trai Byers and Bryshere "Yazz" Gray, are featured on the new cover of The Hollywood Reporter.

In the publication, creator Lee Daniels talks candidly about the success of the show and speaks highly of his scene-stealing leading leading. "Taraji was what I call 'Project Royalty' because in the projects, honey, she is royalty," says Daniels, who courted her for the role. "She was Meryl Streep in the streets; it just took a moment for white America to catch on."

Taraji P. Henson, who is expected to receive a Emmy nomination for 'Empire' when the candidates are announced next month, is front and center on the August issue of W magazine, where she dishes on her role in the hit series and representing the American Dream.

Last night, 'Empire' capped off its television-defying freshman season with a two-hour finale and just like it has every week since its January 7th debut, the show soared to a new viewership high with 16.7 million viewers and a 6.5 rating among adults 18-49.

Starring Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, the show, which also has the No.1 album on the Billboard 200, ends the season as the top show on the broadcast networks, having officially passed 'The Big Bang Theory' in the key demo. The show, created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, has already been renewed and is expected to return in the fall for a second season.

'Person of Interest' is a crime thriller about a presumed dead former-CIA agent, Reese, who teams up with a mysterious billionaire, Finch, to prevent violent crimes by using their own brand of vigilante justice. Screen Gems has released the official theatrical trailer for 'Think Like A Man', the forthcoming ensemble comedy based on the best-selling Steve Harvey book.

The film, which hits theaters on March 9th, stars Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Michael Ealy, Terrence J., Gabrielle Union and a bevy of other black actors.
