After taking a brief break to switch labels, Kelly Clarkson reemerges with her new album 'Meaning Of Life', which was released on Friday, and the original 'American Idol' winner earns the honor of becoming Featured Artist of the Month for November.

Today (October 27th), Kelly Clarkson releases her eighth studio album 'Meaning Of Life', which marks her first release in two years and her inaugural set for Atlantic Records.

Preceded by the single "Love So Soft" and promotional releases "Move You" and the title track, the album doesn't features any guest appearances and Clarkson calls it the album that she has always wanted to make since winning 'American Idol' in 2002.

Kelly Clarkson is set to release her new album 'Meaning Of Life' on October 27th, and the pop star continues to build up hype for the project by release the title track.

Kelly Clarkson, the original 'American Idol', returned to the show that made her a household name to pull double duty as a mentor to the contestants and to perform her latest hit, "The Heartbeat Song", from her No.1 album 'Piece By Piece'.

Final sales figures are in and Kelly Clarkson has scored her third chart-topping on the Billboard 200 as her newest studio album, 'Piece By Piece', debuts in the summit position with with 97,000 units, which includes 83,000 in traditional albums sales.

As the first winner of 'American Idol', she becomes only the second contestant from the show to score three No.1 albums. Carrie Underwood, the fourth season winner, who notched No.1 debuts with 'Carnival Ride' (2007), 'Play On' (2009) and 'Blown Away' (2012), was the first.

Rounding out the top 5 on this weeks chart are: 'The Fifty Shades of Grey' soundtrack at No.2 (96,000 units), '1989' by Taylor Swift in third (77,000 units), 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late' by Drake in fourth (73,000 units) and 'x' by Ed Sheeran in the fifth spot (63,000 units).

While we were on hiatus, Kelly Clarkson premiered the official music video for "Heartbeat Song", the catchy first single from her newly-released studio album 'Piece By Piece', which is on track to debut at No.1 on the Billboard 200 later this week.
